Treating architecture, landscape, and interior design as complementary endeavors, Brian Sawyer and John Berson have been ahead of their time and influential in the world of design since the founding of their eponymous partnership in 1999. SawyerBerson’s prodigious use of traditional and modern vocabularies has gained the firm widespread recognition and many notable clients. In the Hamptons, a modernist house of stone and glass lets in the sun and sea views while secluded by the dunes and drifts of native grasses. Another residence is built according to the pinwheel floor plans of early twentieth-century houses by Mies van der Rohe and Frank Lloyd Wright to accommodate four primary suites around a central common area with plenty of space for entertaining and individual relaxation. Yet another project, equally arresting, is a Colonial Revival cedar-shingled house and seaside landscape built for multiple generations. Whether restoring a historic Georgian Revival town house in Manhattan, designing a modernist residence in the country, or planning a garden by the ocean, the practice embraces traditional and contemporary styles with equal distinction.
Shipping
Unless otherwise specified, orders ship via Ground Service.
For in-stock items, orders confirmed before 12pm PST typically ship out the same day. Casa Branca seeks to ship all items within 24 hours of order confirmation, but lead times can vary based on product availability and shipping destination.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, the Goods shall be shipped and delivered FOB destination, freight prepaid and added. Title and risk of loss passes upon delivery of the Goods at the Delivery Point.
Returns
Returns will only be accepted within one week of being delivered. If Casa Branca is at fault there is no service charge for returns, and the account will be credited with all shipping or postage charges. If Casa Branca is not at fault (including refused shipments, customer duplication of orders, or cancellations after shipment), the following charges will be applied:
- 25% restocking charge on all fabric 5 yards or longer
- 25% restocking charge on all wallcoverings (only full, uncut rolls accepted)
- Shipping and/or postage charges
To start a return, you can contact us at welcomehome@casabranca.com. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item. We will evaluate and remedy the issue as necessary.
Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned:
- Fabric lengths less than 5 yards
- Custom Orders
- Merchandise that has been cut, processed, marked, or damaged in any way
- Fabrics or wallcoverings that have any special process applied (backing, coating, etc.)
- Jean Roger Ceramics
- Samuel Mazy Porcelains
- Shell Masks
- Artwork (Paintings, Photographs, Sculpture, etc.)
Cancellations
Any requests to change or cancel orders may be accommodated at Casa Branca’s sole discretion, and only if the order has not already been processed for shipment.
Merchandise returns must meet our return policy and are subject to additional return charges
Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return. If approved, you will be refunded to your original payment method. Please remember it may take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund.

Gabriella Imperatori-Penn's unique style of photography reflects her bold and feminine nature, earning her a well-deserved place in distinguished magazines and allowing her to work with high-profile advertising clients.
Her Swiss-Italian background informs her work's timeless and peaceful quality, and her sense of space, time, and color makes her work sought by interior designers.
She draws most of her inspiration from nature, especially the stunning design of flowers. She discovered her love for photography at age 15 during a summer camp, and it's been her passion ever since.
